What I Believe In

Metaphysics

May 5, 2023

When people ask me if I believe in God, they often expect me to tell them that I believe in an old man with a white beard 🎅

What I believe:

There is a meta-world where beings with superior intelligence (the scientists of their world) create with their computers multiverses to test scenarios and observe the fate of each universe.

We would therefore be only one simulation/experiment among billions of billions of others.

And our creators might not even be aware of our existence (because their object of study is not life but something else, or because their zoom level is not powerful enough to realize our existence; like us, who cannot go beyond the elementary particles that make up atoms).

And we, if we manage to make the quantum computer happen, will do the same. We will simulate billions of universes to observe their future; universes where life forms will emerge and of which we will have no awareness of their existence!

A simulated wormhole reinforces the idea that the universe is a hologram
